Like most episodes, The Kindling 02 is not without its faults. It highlights the gravity of the situation and the hope that all is not lost. It shines in its animation where necessary, and the emotional range given by AR-15 deserves recognition.

So he can kick ass and take names, but he has no idea how the world or Japan even works. Osamu is a Border Agent, and Kuma is a Neighbor; a quick recap runs right into the second episode, and the saga continues.
It is evident from the jump that Toei Animation would make this a long-running series, so the animation budget was spread out considerably. So considerably that someone forgot that glasses have arms on both sides, complete arms.
