"Shut up! Stop talking! Just go the hell away! All the world needs is me... I have my values, so you can keep yours, all right? I don't get people. “Never have, never will." This monologue explains the story itself, I suppose.
What I enjoyed most about this show was its setting, though. A steampunk Japan inhabited by zombie-like monsters, where people still roam without being trapped inside walls. The animation also emphasizes the movement in still images rather than violence in action situations. It makes no attempts to be a scary anime for no reason either.

I wanted Takafumi to get his comeuppance as the series progressed. This is thanks to Kouji Tsujitani, who really brought out the selfishness of Takafumi. On the flip side, I also felt sorry for him, as I saw a man who was hard-headed and had conversely lost his way.

In terms of enjoyment, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The battles were better than what I've seen in DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, and other shows. They were surprising and quite entertaining. The music is fantastic.
