Ippatu’s completed seven-volume seinen manga Toratsugumi: Tsugumi Project is getting a TV anime adaptation, announced on July 14, 2026. The French-Japanese survival horror follows soldier Leon, dropped into an irradiated wasteland once called Japan to retrieve a mysterious weapon named Tsugumi. No studio, staff, or streaming platform has been confirmed yet. For Gen X fans of Wicked City and MD Geist, this self-contained, filler-free body-horror story feels like a throwback to the OVA boom’s darker roots.
