Kantai Collection: KanColle is an anime adaptation of the popular web browser game featuring anthropomorphized World War II warships as cute girls. Despite its intriguing premise, the series suffers from a disjointed plot and underdeveloped characters. While the art and music are enjoyable, the anime fails to fully capitalize on its potential.
