D4DJ First Mix is an anime that brings the world of DJing to life through the story of Rinku Aimoto and her friends at Yoba Academy. As they form the DJ unit Happy Around, viewers are treated to a blend of cute girls doing cute things (CGDCT) and fierce musical competition. While the show offers great music and insights into DJing, it struggles with inconsistent CG animation and an occasionally annoying protagonist.
