The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World “Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki” When life gives you a second chance, you bounce back stronger and do everything perfectly the second time. Knowing what went wrong might offer you an advantage. This story teaches us that when you're virtuous, life conspires to right all the wrongs done to you. The creator and director of the anime series "The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World" is Studio Blanc. Nobuyoshi Nagayama is the main director; Touko Machida wrote the screenplay; Masayoshi Kikuchi and Sayaka Ueno created the character designs; and Alisa Okehazama composed the music. The show aired from January 7th through April 1st, 2023, on AT-X and other networks. The 13 television show episodes, based on a light novel, last for 23 minutes apiece. The action, adventure, and fantasy-themed series features recurring themes of Isekai and reincarnation. It was rated PG-13 for young adults ages 13 and above. The light novel series by Kiichi Kosuzu began serialization online in December 2018 on the user-generated novel publication site Shousetsuka ni Narou. Following this, Futabasha acquired it. Starting on July 31st, 2019, M Novels released the narrative as a light novel in five volumes with drawings by Shiso (from the first volume) and Kihiro Yuzuki (from the second volume). In July 2022, Futabasha released a new edition of the series under the Monster Bunko imprint, with Yuunagi serving as the new illustrator. A manga version with illustrations by Toshinori Okazaki has been serialized on the Gaugau Monster website of Futabasha since May 2020. It has been collected in six Tankoubon containers. Even though Haruyoshi Kuga was the most effective exorcist, those who wanted his power killed him because he yearned for even more. As he exhales, he casts a spell that allows him to reincarnate, vowing to become even more crafty and hoping that all his efforts will be successful in his next life. Soon after, Haruyoshi is reborn as Seika Lamprogue in a different reality. He is the adopted son of a wealthy family that takes magic very seriously. But his new family mostly ignores him due to his ancestry and lack of magic. However, Seika is unfazed and uses his prior experience to forge many helpful allies. As Seika begins to explore the actual limits of his abilities, he must be mindful of the consequences that marred his past and prevent himself from repeating the same mistakes. I won't rehash all the other reviews with the generic "it's an isekai" yada yada because you can already tell it's an isekai. I'm not on the Isekai bandwagon that everyone else seems to be on. This program presents a distinctive and novel perspective on the high school subgenre. His pre-reincarnation abilities carry over into his new life, setting this story apart from others. I found it interesting to compare his current situation with his past abilities. He's also not your typical schoolboy, and episode 12 contains a significant plot twist that justifies watching the show. His interactions with the other characters are endearing and funny, and his character development and growth throughout the series are impressive. I found this anime enjoyable because of what he accomplished using his skills from a prior incarnation, as the program immediately demonstrates how strong and lethal he is. It effectively illustrates how he navigates life and employs his skills to make it through in his new world after being reborn. I'm all in favor of an overpowered protagonist. If you have even a basic understanding of what an "onmyoji" is—basically, picture Abe no Seimei or an Eastern wizard or summoner—it's funny enough. It seems plausible and entertaining to me. But this isn't particularly entertaining because the main character is powerful yet unwilling to be, and he goes against his strategy to be ordinary half the time. The girls lack complex and challenging personalities because they fall in love with him after the main character is kind to them. This is especially true of Amyu, a skilled fighter primarily overlooked despite showing much promise. Very little in the cosmos is truly unique. Most low-budget productions care more about making a profit than making an impression, so it's no surprise they resort to cheap CGI and art. The studio tries to keep the CGI to a minimum, but they are only sometimes successful. When they do, the CGI of the monsters is excellent. The three voice actors who portray the three main girls sing the entertaining and calming ending theme. There's not much else to say, but Angela always starts off strong. Even though I don't like the background music all that much, I like the traditional music that is played while poems are read. The opening theme is "Reconnection" by Angela, and the ending theme is "Link" (Rinku) by Azumi Waki, Nene Hieda, and Akari Kit. The style of this anime is Isekai. With the ambition "I want to be normal" or a similar theme, the main character is thrust into this strange world, and he finds a few women to hang out with to assist him in his struggles. This example is the same as all the others, although this archetype can sometimes be implemented well. The universe is good, and I like how the MC’s capacity is described, but this does not compensate for how stereotypical it is. Not only does it discuss the typical coming-of-age trope in which the main character doesn't desire to be a hero but nevertheless ends up being one, but it also goes into great detail about some profound spiritual connections among Japanese folklore and complex fantasy tropes. If you're looking for something to watch that's lighthearted, not too serious, or at least something you'll like somewhat, this program is not for you. It's not recommended, but if you want what you’ve heard, spin it and see for yourself.
