Classroom of the Elite II The Squid Game, the Tomodachi Game, and all of these other horrifying games let players bet their lives while solving puzzles and mysteries to move on to the next level. What if all of them were true? Would that make your life more interesting? Or are you content with your regular life as it is? "Classroom of the Elite" is an anime series based on the similarly-named light novels. After Season 1 ended, the second season was confirmed, and Lerche joined the team of animators for the show. Yoshihito Nishōji directed this season, with Kishi and Hashimoto returning as main directors, Hayato Kazano replacing Akashiro as screenwriter, and Morita as character designer. Studio Hibari, Movic, AT-X, Sammy, Crunchyroll, Kadokawa Media House, Kadokawa, and Bandai Namco Music Live were the producers, while Masaru Yokoyama and Kana Hashiguchi composed the score in place of Takahashi. Studio Lerche produced the source material for Classroom of the Elite: Season 2. It is a drama and suspense series based on that material. Lerche is a well-known studio that made anime like Assassination Classroom, Given, and Monster Musume. The anime series included 13 episodes, each of which lasted 23 minutes. It has psychological and educational themes and was given a PG-13 rating, which means that people over 13 can watch it. “Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu” e or "Welcome to the Classrooms Where Merit is Paramount," was originally a Japanese light novel series written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose, published by Media Factory's MF Bunko J imprint from May 2015 to September 2019. In January 2020, the sequel light novel series titled "Classroom of the Elite: Year 2" was released. On January 27th, 2016, Yuyu Ichino's manga adaptation began publishing in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive. The manga version of the second light novel series drawn by Shia Sasane began coming out in the same magazine on December 25, 2021. Manabu Horikita receives the first Special Test results from Akane Tachibana. Yosuke Hirata invites Kiyotaka to lunch on the ship, but he says no when he brings up Kei Karuizawa. The first-year students are informed of a second special test, and each pupil is to assemble in a particular location at a predetermined time. At Kiyotaka's get-together, there will be Kei, Hideo Sotomura, Teruhiko Yukimura, and himself. Here a teacher outlines the Special Test for them: the students are divided into eight groups of fourteen, each with three students from Classes A and B and four students from Classes C and D, and each group is named after a planet. The exam lasts three days, the school proclaims a participant in the group a "VIP" at 8:00 a.m. on the first day, and the group debates whoever the VIP is twice per day. Everybody but the VIP submits a guess to the school within thirty minutes of the last day. As such, this test has four cases: Case 1: If every student except the VIP's classmates gives the correct response, each student receives 500,000 personal points, and the VIP receives an additional 500,000. Case 2: If at least one individual gives an incorrect response (excluding the VIP's peers), the VIP earns 500,000 personal points. If the VIP is found out before the test is over, the other two cases apply. Case 3: If a student gives the right answer, they will get 500,000 personal points, their class will get 50 class points, and the group's testing time will be up. Also, if the VIP's classmate gives the right answer, it will be declared invalid, and the exam will proceed. Case 4: If a student submits an incorrect answer, their class loses 50 class points, the VIP receives 500,000 personal points, whose class receives 50 class points, and the testing session ends. Also, if the VIP's classmate gives a wrong answer, the answer will be thrown out and the exam will continue. Ayanokouji, without a doubt, ranks among my all-time favorite anime characters. His looks, habits, and actions all work together to give him the charisma that many people want to see. His demeanor is one of the reasons why people enjoy this anime so much. He's intelligent, athletic, and skilled in martial arts, piano, and calligraphy. Throughout the show, viewers can see how he thinks and how he is always observing his surroundings. Horikita was the primary lady of the first season, and the same thing can be said for Season 2. But Karuizawa is getting a lot more screen time than Horikita, and the show is focusing more on her than on him. But her personality isn't developing effectively enough because she's still making the same mistakes she did in the previous season and is essentially just a prop for Ayanokouji. Karuizawa appears to have had far more influence on the storyline than anybody could have predicted following the first season. The early episodes indicate that the drama will now be more centered on her. Visitors learn more about who she is and where she comes from, and she takes on more responsibilities at the same time. Kushida, who played an important part in the first season, is now exposed to be a traitor to the entirety of the D class. When she tells Ayanokouji and Horikita about her dark side, viewers learn more about her. My main complaint is that there are a lot of side characters who don't seem to change much in how they act or how they affect the story. It's a shame that so many good opportunities were wasted. The plot is great, and there are contests and challenges at almost every turn that let Ayanokoji show off his skills and powers. The story is amazing, but the pacing is terrible. While I appreciate their desire to use only a portion of the content from the light novel, they remove life and slow down the crucial moments too much. During the whole second season of the anime show, the art department of the animation studio hasn't lived up to expectations. The preceding one was one of my favorites, but this one is clearly a step backwards. The animation can be quite baffling at times, and the colors no longer appear to be as brilliant or as realistic as they once were. They really could have done better here, but it is what it is. The music department has its own unique style, and the voice acting is very good. The characters' emotions are shown with a lot of care, with the obvious exception of Ayanokouji, who never shows any emotion. The music is very enjoyable. As the opening theme, ZAQ sings "Dancing in the Game," and as the ending song, Mai Fuchigami sings "Hito Jibai." Mai Fuchigami and ZAQ, respectively, perform both songs. The second season of the anime Classroom of the Elite is one that should be highly recommended, particularly because, from my point of view, it is a great deal more enjoyable than the first season was. Despite the fact that the animation in Season 1 was clearly superior, the show's second season is simply more entertaining to watch when compared to many other series. Thoroughly recommended!
