This Tower of God review examines why the 2020 webtoon adaptation struggles despite its ambitious premise. Bam’s climb to find Rachel is burdened by rushed storytelling, thin world-building, predictable tests, and a passive hero protected by plot armor. While Khun brings intrigue and Kevin Penkin’s soundtrack provides atmosphere, the weak action, shallow character work, and confusing stakes make the series hard to recommend to newcomers.
