The humor holds up well over many episodes because it is consistently sharp. Katarina grows both on purpose and by accident as she learns to survive in her environment, and the story goes in a logical way. The cast is enjoyable, and it's not just another typical group of bishounen either. The animation is flawless, and the start is memorable.
One-Punch Man follows bald hero Saitama, so overpowered he ends every fight with a single blow—and is bored out of his mind because of it. This review covers both seasons: Madhouse’s jaw-dropping Season 1 animation, JC Staff’s Season 2 and the Garou arc, plus the Hero Association satire, Genos, the side cast, and that unforgettable JAM Project opening theme. Action-comedy done right—ridiculous, sharp, and still essential.
