Killing Bites
"Life flashes before my eyes," he says. Have you ever heard the term at least once in your life? I'm pretty sure we've never seen anyone in real life morph into enormous animals or insanely large wolves from the Twilight series. But it would be a far better explanation. Let us now go on to a great animation that will thrill you and keep you on your toes.
"Killing Bites” (Kiringu Baitsu) is a 12-episode anime television series based on Shinya Murata's Japanese manga series. Yasuto Nishikata directed the series, which was written by Aoi Akashiro. Toshihiro Maeda, Reo Kurosu, Toshiyasu Hayashi, Yoshinori Takeeda, Takayuki Takagi, Masatarō Nishi, and Chihaya Imase produced.
It was produced by Liden Films and broadcast on MBS TV's "Animeism" programming block from January 13 to March 31, 2018. The Director's Cut version was available on Amazon Video globally. From March 28 through June 26, 2018, four Blu-ray releases were made available. Each release has three episodes, for a total of 12 episodes. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for North American home video distribution.
It was aimed at the Demographic Seinen, and it was action, sci-fi, and ecchi, with gore as its main theme. It aired for 24 minutes every episode and was classified R+ for mild nastiness. Shinya Murata created the manga series, which was drawn by Kazuasa Sumita. It has been serialized in Hero's Inc.'s seinen manga magazine Monthly Hero's since November 2013. As of July 29, 2021, it had been collected in eighteen tankōbon volumes.
Human-animal hybrids have been created, and major corporations are betting on the results of their fights. One day, Nomoto Yuuya's casual pals ask him to drive them around to pick up ladies, which he quickly realizes means kidnapping. Yuuya Nomoto, a college student, finds out that Hitomi Uzaki, the high school girl they were going to kidnap, killed his friends in a brutal way. After unintentionally engaging in kidnapping, they discovered that the girl they had kidnapped was an animal-human hybrid.
Hitomi is a honey badger, known as the most courageous of all creatures. Yuuya wakes up hours later, thinking it was all a dream. Instead, he finds himself in the middle of a secret proxy war between four large Japanese corporations, with the winner taking control of the economy. His life now depends on Hitomi's ability to take part in secret bloodsport matches called "Killing Bites" as her only investor, even though he doesn't want to.
Uzaki Hitomi is one of the Killing Bites manga's main characters. In Killing Bites, she is a therianthrope known as Brute Ratel (Burūto Rāteru) who reports to Shidou Reiichi. Hitomi is a young woman of ordinary height with short white hair that includes bangs that cover her brow, brown eyes, and an athletically toned figure. She usually dresses in her high school uniform.
Hitomi had a savage look as a youngster owing to her Origin Beast form and only wore a basic dress. Hitomi started to wear clean, normal clothes that fit her after she changed out of her Origin Beast form and joined human society. Hitomi has a ferocious nature that makes her appear unpleasant and scary to others.
If they irritate her, therianthrope or not, she will begin a fight with them with little provocation. Despite her tomboyish demeanor, she has no shame or reluctance about her battle attire, though she is aware of the importance of behaving more femininely.
The protagonist of the Killing Bites series, Nomoto Yuuya, is an important figure. When he was a student at Jyousai University studying economics in his second year, he led a life that was relatively unremarkable. But Yuuya's life changed drastically when he met Uzaki Hitomi by accident and found out about Killing Bites. Shidou Reiichi, who was in charge of her, made him an investor in her business until the Killing Bites Destroyal.
Yuuya is a young man who stands at a respectable height and has dark eyes and hair that is slicked back into a cowlick on the crown of his head. Yuuya suffered from social anxiety and was painfully shy when he was around other people, which made it easy for others to bully him. After being matched with Yuuya for the Killing Bites Destroyale, Hitomi thought he would be an excellent companion because she knew he would have no control over her and she would be free to do anything she wanted. Throughout his previous life, he mostly followed the flow rather than making his own decisions, which landed him in the Killing Bites mafia adventure.
The cast of characters was absolutely fantastic. Though, in all honesty, I had the impression that only one of the characters matched the characteristics of their animals, despite the fact that the animals were a good fit for the characters. Hitomi's background, including where she came from, what she was, and how she was born, is a complete mystery. What can be claimed from the moment she was born is that she was endowed with animal DNA that gave her the look and demeanor of a ferocious beast.
In terms of enjoyment, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The battles were better than what I've seen in DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, and other shows. They were surprising and quite entertaining. The music is fantastic. I must mention that the music is excellent, particularly the hard metal pieces. I'm also pleased with the aesthetics and the music.
"Kedamono Damono" by Kitsunetsuki plays at the beginning, and "Kedamono Damono" plays at the end. The beginning song is similar to most of fripSide's tracks (which isn't always a bad thing if you enjoy their style), but the closing song is unique and appealing. I have no issues with voice acting, and I must confess that I became obsessed with Youko's voice.
The story that happens in this anime won't make you think too deeply. However, it is still outstanding in the things that it strives to be. The story develops throughout the course of the episode, and there are a few occurrences that catch me off guard; overall, watching the anime was quite fascinating and enjoyable. You are in for a real treat if you enjoy spending your time watching people kill each other in "anime titties" (and let's be honest, who doesn't?).
The experience of watching this anime was satisfying on the whole. I can see how the decisions that people make could drive up or bring down the average score, but in general, I believe that this program ought to receive a little bit more praise. I recommend it!
